The Royal Botannical Gardens
This major horticultural, educational, conservation and scientific attraction
is considered the " Plant Biodiversity Hotspot " for Canada. It is part of the UNESCO
Niagara Escarpment World Biosphere Reserve and has more than 1,100 species of plants growing within its boundaries - some of which are Canada's most endangered trees as listed under the Species at Risk Act..
This extraordinary attraction includes the Arboretum, the RGB Herbarium,
the Nature Interpretive Centre ( an outdoor education centre ), and network of over
37 km of trails with an abundance of floral arrangements.
Within the boundaries of the RBG are nature sanctuaries and natural lands that
include some of the most significant wildlife and native plant areas in Canada.
Group tours, public programs, interpretive tours and exhibits are enriched by the
ongoing scientific research, conservation projects and educational programs of the RBG.

The Dundas Museum
The Dundas Museum is ( only a block away from Frosty's ) located on Park Street in the
town of Dundas and has a wonderful collections of artifacts relating to the history of Dundas.
Carnegie Gallery
In the heart of the town on King Street you will find the Carnegie Gallery. Here, you will find
the works of many local artists and artisans. From glasswork and ceramics to photography, paintings prints and sculpture, the variety of materials represented is as varied as the subject matter that you will find in this first class gallery of art.
