Outlying Areas Around Dundas there are little areas with stores that offer unusual and well priced specialty items. A drive along Hwy 5 ( the escarpment ) will take you past some of these spots as will some of the side roads and concessions where you'll find everything from antiques to food. |

Farms & Markets Up Sydenham Road ( from the centre of the town ) and up King Street ( at the west end of town ) you will find farms with markets and seasonal produce for sale in their roadside concessions. A favourite for Dundassians at the top of Sydenham Road Dyment's Farm. |

The Town of Dundas Ontario provides visitors and residents
with a unique historic environment in which to shop, browse and dine. The many shops
and restaurants lining the main street of the old town are open during regular business hours.

University Plaza is located on Osler Drive, which continues from Main Street West.
It is on your left as you come in to Dundas from Hamilton. From supermarkets, opticians,
cellular phones and hardware stores to furniture, take out pizza and restaurants,
University Plaza offer an abundance of choices with lots of parking. In addition to the stores
already mentioned, you can also find booksellers, movie rentals, mens and womens clothing
as well as auto repairs, tire shops, denturists and photography shops
The Industrial Parks area of Dundas is located in the Mill Street area.
Here you can find lumber and building supplies, equipment rentals, original pine furniture,
auto repairs, as well as printing companies and automotive specialty supplies.
The Dundas Valley region embraces a large area that is home to farms, organic food growers,
farmers markets, gourmet food shops, artists, potters and other craftspeople
as well as sightseeing attractions like waterfalls and conservation areas.
